Have you ever thought of something clever while driving in your car?

Have you ever had an idea that just gets stuck in your head, kinda like a disco tune?

Well… that is what StraightSigns.com was to me….

In 2003, I was driving in my car when I saw a rainbow sticker on the bumper of the car ahead of me and thought to myself “what is my group identity?” A couple of blocks later the light bulb went on and the “Graybow” was born. But like all things in life it takes a while to get things rolling.

Fast forward to 2007.

• I decided to finally do something with that “great idea.”
• An artist was hired to take the idea, which by now had morphed into lots of different shapes, and make them look cool.
• A printing company was contracted to make the great looking weather proof stickers.
• Then I had this website built for spreading the idea and selling cool items.

And the rest is history…

This site and idea is not about hate, denigration, prejudice, antigay, or the bashing of others. This site is about fun and community. We honor and respect everyone’s lifestyle and personal choices and do not condone meanness or antisocial behavior.

StraightSigns.com is trying to make people smile and give the straight community a symbol to display with pride.
